DRUG AND ALCOHOL DRIVING AWARENESS PROGRAM

(DADAP)

Alert and Drive is pleased to offer a fully licensed traditional DADAP classroom course. Not online but in a classroom setting. Alert and Drive is an approved Drug and Alcohol Driving Awareness Program, TDLR license (C3258). We offers a six-hours traditional classroom (DADAP) class that focuses not only on the negative aspects of drug and alcohol use and how they are detrimental to the driving task, but also stresses the importance of making better choices and focuses on the activities, interests, and relationships that foster a healthy and positive life. This course is certified and approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and is documented and regulated in the same manner as the traditional Alcohol Education Program for Minors (AEPM) course.

Unfortunately, too many minors in our community are receiving citations for underage drinking and related offenses including MIP, PI and DUI. We are aware that one of the corrective measures often required of the courts for these individuals is an educational program for drug and alcohol driving awareness.
